REGISTRATION AND HOTEL INFORMATION

HOTEL INFORMATION

The 2000 fall conference of the Southern Division of CCHA is being held at the Radisson Deauville Resort Hotel on Miami Beach at 67th and Collins Avenue. The hotel is 20 minutes from Miami International Airport and 30 minutes from Ft. Lauderdale International Airport. South Beach, the Art Deco District, the Shops of Bal Harbour, Aventura Mall, and Lincoln Road Mall are 15 minutes away. The hotel features 700 feet of private, sandy beach on the Atlantic Ocean, an over-sized swimming pool, heated spa, exercise room, and three all-weather tennis courts.

Miami has fine museums, theater, botanical gardens, and some of the most beautiful and interesting architecture in the world. For those interested in the culinary offerings of the area, Miami boasts a number of fine ethnic restaurants. Information on Miami's cultural and culinary offerings will be provided at the conference. The room rate is $145 per night for a single or double. DRIVING AND GROUND TRANSPORTATION DIRECTIONS

Directions from 95 North or South: Take 95 to Exit 7 (195 East to Miami Beach). Stay on 195

East over the Intercoastal to Miami Beach. After the first traffic light, 195 becomes 41st Street / Arthur Godfrey Road. Make a left turn (north) onto Collins Avenue. Stay on Collins Avenue to just past 67th Street. Immediately following the 67th Street traffic light, the Hotel entrance will be on your right.

PRECONFERENCE SOUTH BEACH ART DECO TOUR

South Beach boasts the largest collection of Art Deco architecture and design in the world. This unique home for the avant garde world of the arts and recreation is also a registered historic district featuring original art deco structures from the 1920's and 1930's. Of interest will be the restored hotels, the famed Art Deco architecture and the Versace Mansion. The tour will be guided by a member of the Miami Design Preservation League. Those registering for the tour should meet in the hotel lobby at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday morning for a 1 1/2 hour walking tour through the Art Deco Historic District. Register early for the Preconference Art Deco Tour. A limited number of spaces are available.

Conference rate: $145 for a double or single per night plus 12.5% tax.

Reservations should be made with the Radisson Deauville by September 26, 2000. Reservations made after the Sept. 26 cut-off date will be confirmed on a space-and-rate-availability basis ONLY.
